SLEEP AS LONG AS I WANT
Then go and work at Hands On whenever I get up (I'll explain this job in a sec.)

So yeah. Really busy week. I haven't been getting a lot of sleep and its causing my left eye to twitch and lights to look fuzzy when I look at them. Thankfully I bought a Monster (energy drink... not the creature, although that would be really cool to have a Monster.) or I probably wouldn't have made it. They're delicious and they really do wake you up. I like 'em a whole lot. My mom hates that I drink them. But I'm a college student who doesn't like coffee, what do you expect?

If you're wondering why I'm babysitting so much this week, rather than my regular Monday and Wednesday, it's because I'm babysitting for another wonderful family. They are a super cute family and their kids are ADORABLE. Shan used to babysit for them too and I used to hear about them all the time, now I know why. They were cracking me up today. We had to wait in my car for like 30 minutes and they were bouncing off the walls and climbing all over the seats. I haven't laughed that long in a long time. I babysit for them tomorrow at 5 until their dad gets home and I'm excited for some more fun and laughs. :)

And now to explain Hands On since some of you might not know what I'm talking about. Hands On is a t-shirt company down here in Lexington, where the wonderful Jen (the girl I stayed with in the beginning of the school year) works at. And occasionally, they'll get a big t-shirt order (12,000) and I'll go in and help fold and individually bag each shirt. It's not bad and it's fun and its nice to have more money for all my future fun coming up!

Let me just let you know, if you don't already that is, but I am one of those people who has to constantly have new music on my iPod. No joke. I also go through phases of music too. Last week it was all remixes. I free downloaded a ton of DJ AM & Travis Barker remixes on my iPod and would rock out, loudly, to them everyday going to and from school, in the car, pretty much everywhere. And this week I've hit a dud. But then I remembered one thing. I have Mute Math's new album on my iPod. If you don't already know this I am obsessed and I mean OBSESSED with Mute Math. They are my favorite band ever. They're not very big but trust me they will be one day. My sister and I have loved them since we saw them open up for the Fray a good 2 or 3 years ago. They opened up and as their set ended I was hooked. I ran to the merch booth and bought a Mute Math t-shirt and their CD. If you ever get the chance to see them in concert, do it. They put on the best show I've ever seen and they will go off on a crazy jam session for a good 20 to 30 minutes in the middle of the show and you'll love it. Heres some pictures of them in action:

This is MuteMath in concert. CRAZY right?!

Here's a little close up of Paul (the lead singer) doing his 'piano stands'. He does this quite often during the concert. So fun. Shan and I always get kind of worried that he'll fall from all his sweaty boy-ness and hurt himself but thankfully that hasn't happened.

So to continue the story, Shan and I have been obsessed and have been anxiously waiting for their new CD to come out, I bought it, loved it and can't stop listening to it. Today, while sitting here in my dorm I turned on one of my favorites from the CD. Just for some background music as I chatted on facebook chat. Then I took a listen the the lyrics. Here's a taste:

And it's a painful thought
to try another start
but the odds are
we'll be better off

As a few of you know from a previous post, I've kind of been having a tough time at college. And I just thought I'd share with you a song that WILL get me through it. My sister has been a great shoulder for me these past few weeks and I'm so thankful to her. She told me something I will never forget. (Mind you it is written as if God is talking directly to me)

I know what is best for you. Please trust me in this. You are on my timeline. Not your own. I have an amazing plan for your life. For you to be an amazing woman that runs after my own heart and is filled with the joy that only I can give. But first, I have to mold you. And this is a hard process. It is a long process. But it is necessary and will make you strong. And not strong like the world knows, but a strong heart that is built from me. I am molding you right now.

My beautiful and amazing sister, wrote me this (this is only an 1/8th of it) and it will forever be close to my heart. It came at a dark time and it pulled me out of it. I'm truly blessed to have my sister, there with me through the thick and thin, and who gives me amazing advice like this. Thank you so much best friend. I wouldn't be here without...

YOU

Well that is all for tonight. I'll talk to you guys very soon!

Love,
Morgan
