carry out...

THANK YOU GOD! I am ALMOST done with my first semester of college and my God do I need a break! My brain literally HURTS! If I try to put anymore information in there... it could be deadly. So thankfully, I have my Math final tomorrow and as soon as it's over, I'm coming back to my dorm and packing up my things and heading home for an ENTIRE MONTH! That sounds sooooo good. I can't tell you how excited I am. It's going to be an awesome month full of family, FLORIDA, my cat, friends, parties, new years craziness, Christmas, Grandparents, SLEEP and FUN! I'm so excited. I can't wait to actually eat food. Don't get me wrong, I like the food here and especially the fact that we are a Coca Cola campus, but I swear if I eat pizza or mashed potatoes or anything else I usually eat here I will punch someone.

But before I get going on my month of much needed break, we have some things to discuss. This past weekend for instance, was... interesting to say the least. I went home because I needed to study for finals, I was starting to get sick from lack of sleep and I needed a break. But something happened on Saturday night that scared me to death...

I was sitting downstairs (home alone), being crafty for Christmas presents and watching one of my all time favorite movies, The Holiday. All is fine and dandy, until at about 11 or so I hear something outside. Mind you this couch is right next to a sliding glass door that leads onto a back patio (on the ground floor). I silence the TV because I got a little nervous. Good thing I did. I then proceeded to hear SOMEONE try and silently OPEN the sliding screen door. But we have that locked, and obviously they got that so they proceeded to jerk harder 2 or 3 times. I FREAKED OUT. Silently. I quietly got up from my couch and walked over to the window and turned on the light on the porch. I then heard them leave. I panicked and called my Mom (who was in Florida, at the time) and made her stay on the phone with me while I went and looked out of my sisters window to see if they were still there. They weren't and my Mom told me to hang up and call the cops. As I called the cops I heard him come back and pull on the door silently a few more times before he bolted. The cops were there in about 5 minutes. They came in and I explained the story and they searched around the house and the woods and told me that they were going to hang around the neighborhood for a while.

I then went to the garage, picked up my old baseball batt and sat downstairs and silently freaked out until my Dad got home. My sweet sister, stayed up with me via text and phone calls to make sure I was safe. I love you sister!

Sunday night, my Dad had to work again, so as soon as he left, I went and turned on every light possible and made sure every door and window was locked and closed every blind. I was downstairs, still being crafty, at about 6:25 (since its winter, you now its dark by this time) and I have the TV (watching the Holiday again. Thanks for showing my favorite movie 3 times in the same weekend TBS!) volume on low and all of the sudden I hear something outside. I turn the volume down even lower and listen. I hear foot steps, something moving against the wall and then SOMEONE pressing on my sisters bedroom window's screen or window frame. I couldn't really understand what he was doing. I thought I was maybe hearing things, but then I heard him DROP HIS KEYS. I FLIPPED. I heard him run off but I still grabbed my phone, ran into my room and locked the door and called the police. Two cop cars showed up with 3 or 4 cops within 2 minutes. They were here so fast. They said they were going to search the woods and check the neighborhood and fingerprint the window. They didn't come up with any fingerprints but they said they would stay around the neighborhood that night, just in case.

UNBELIEVABLE RIGHT?!?! I can't believe that happened! It always happens to me too. It happened to me once in our old house, but I saw that guy. Creeptastic men, LEAVE ME ALONE! We don't have to worry about them anymore, we now have an alarm system and put boards in the sliding door frame (so that it won't slide even if you unlock the door) and all the windows on ground level. THANK GOD! I will feel much safer at home now!

Well that was my creeptastic weekend. Other than that happening to me, it was nice, relaxing, and great to recharge my batteries.

And you know how I was going to take pictures of our pretty decorated house at night? Yeahhh, I thought about doing that, but then I was creeped on and the idea of going outside by myself, at night... not appealing and NO THANK YOU! Thats like having a buffet for the hungry, they'll attack it. So just take my word for it, it's pretty and I'll take picture sometime over break.

Just because I'm going on break, doesn't mean I'm taking a break from blogging. I will keep blogging, and filling you in on adventures. I hope you guys have a great weekend!

love love love,
Morgan

Oh and ummm Saints are 12-0 and the Wildcats are 9-0. Just sayin'. :))))))

Oh and by the way, the title of this post is from "Carry Out" by Timbaland and Justin Timberlake. It's such a good song and I plan on walking to my final tomorrow, rocking out to it. Check it out! :)

Oh and one more thing, this whole cold and wind thing needs to quit NOW. The wind was ridiculous today (25mph+). Thats insane! I almost got blown over today, multiple times. And today, when I was hanging out with Patrick, he told me that when he was walking over to my dorm, he actually saw some girl get literally knocked over by the wind. I would have loved to have seen that! Also, today, while at lunch, Patrick and I were talking about Florida football and I made a comment about how I loved Tim Tebow because he loves the Lord and he's someone boys in college should look up to. Patrick then told me that he hates Tebow because and I quote, "He's too good, like a goody-goody, he doesn't drink or party, he has a bangin' girlfriend, says god bless you after every interview, and hes just... TOO GOOD!" I then asked, "Well would you like him more if he slept with every girl, partied hard, and was a typical college boy." His answer: "HELL YES! I'd love him!!!!" haha oh how I love our conversations, Pat!

Oh and Tim, you're adorable.

We should date. ;)

likes and dislikes of dorm life

I have been planning on writing this blog for awhile, I just waited until the end of the semester so I could give you a full list of likes and dislikes of dorm life.As most of you know, I live in a wonderful little dorm on North Campus called Keeneland Hall.

It's quite a nice dorm and in great shape for being over 50 years old. I'm pretty sure the only reason is because it was a girls only dorm for a long time. Since I've lived here for a few months now, I've compiled a list of things that i like/dislike about living here.

Likes:

I LOVE the fact that my dorm isn't like all of the other ones on campus. It's suite style and that means that I don't have to share a bathroom with 20 other girls. If that were the case, I would definitely hate my life. But here, our bathroom is joined to our room and we share it with two other girls.

I'm starting to really love my bed. Even though it is definitely not as comfortable as my amazing bed back home, all the padding that we've put on it is really comfy and I constantly take naps when I should be doing homework. Story of my life!

I absolutely love Brita! This thing has saved my body from horrible water all semester long. We check whats filtered out of our water all the time and its absolutely disgusting what we would be drinking if it wasn't for this amazing invention.

I absolutely LOVE my picture wall. As the semester has gone on, the picture wall has grown and I can only imagine how big it will be at the end of winter break, let alone the end of the school year.

Thats just some of the likes. I really like the dorm in all but I'm not gonna lie its more fun to write about the bad. And there are a few of those...

Dislikes:

One of the things that I hate the most about my dorm is the fact that the wall behind my head is a stairwell. This is my wall...

and the opposite side of it.

I don't know where the kids in my door were raised but obviously it was jungle. They don't consider that at 3 a.m. you shouldn't run and have (what sounds like) a rave in the stairwell. Also, I understand that the elevators are broken and everything but throwing your wheely luggage down the stairs ONE STEP AT A TIME at 7 a.m. will make me want to kill you. I've already yelled outside my door at people to shut the hell up and they never listen. Animals.

Oh my bathroom. This is where most of the dislikes are. This is a sticker on my door leading into my bathroom. It constantly makes me giggle.

I'm not gonna lie... I've locked my roommate and a few other friends in there before... only for a minute... as a joke. Don't tell my RA. :)

It's a nice bathroom don't get me wrong. But our suit mates are weird (see example below)...

Yep. You're seeing that right. My weird suite mates left this thing in the bathroom one day. First of all who in their right mind would make this and second, who would BUY it and third who would EAT THIS! Who thinks I'm gonna buy this sucker with a cricket in it?! Disgusting. Me and my roommate judged this. I invite you to judge too.

Another thing about my suite mates, they're constantly in the bathroom... stinking things up. Not cool guys. Not cool.

So this is the shower part of the bathroom. It looks normal right?

This is my shower with me standing in it. Look at the shower head. Its shorter than my head. Apparently in 1955, a lot of midgets went to UK because to take a shower you have to scrunch down like...

It's insanely uncomfortable and a nightmare to wash your hair.

Obviously our fan is a little bigger than our ledge so we have to constantly re-tape it down so that it doesn't fall in the middle of the night.

Well those were just a few of my likes and dislikes. I hope you enjoyed them and got a few laughs. I'll give you guys another post tomorrow or later tonight about my weekend and the funness that is ahead. I know funness isn't a word but I like it.

Morgan

"all i want for christmas..."

In the words of pre-crazy and pre-diva Mariah Carey... 'all the lights are shining so brightly everywhere' and I'm freaking EXCITED!

I don't have a picture of my wonderful house all decorated up for Christmas yet... but I have one from last year that I believe everyone should see.

I know this isn't the greastest picture but you need to see this. That's my house on the left (I know, my Mom didn't really decorate last year but after spreading Christmas cheer at home last weekend, I convinced her to get a little more crafty. I'll post pictures next week). My neighbors are on the right. THEY GO ALLL OUT FOR CHRISTMAS. They stuff as many of those really oboxious (I'm sorry if you like them) Christmas inflatables in their tiny yard as they can. They have atleast one for EVERY SEASON.

Here is a better picture.

Yes. You're seeing that right... they have a (obnoxious) CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN outside their house. Not only does it countdown days, no no they wouldn't stop there. It counts down minutes and seconds. This is so dumb and has become famous among my friends. Best thing is, they put this out before Halloween. Probably 2 weeks before Halloween to be exact. Also, you can't see it but they have a Thanksgiving flag out too. THATS 3 HOLIDAYS in ONE YARD AT THE SAME TIME! Are you kidding me!?! I judged and I invite you to judge with me.

I LOVE Christmas. Quite possibly my favorite holiday. There's nothing better than buying presents for the people I love and seeing their faces when they open them. This year, seeing as how I'm a poor college student I don't have a lot of money or time, I'm going for quality not quantity. I would love to splurge for my friends and family but I just simply can't. But I think the quality of this years gifts will put smiles on everyones face. Hopefully!!!!

I'm officially in full on stress mode. Tomorrow I have a HUGE HUGE HUGE test in my Political Science class. Might as well call it a final that counts for half of my grade. Ridiculous. I'm praying I do good!

Then after that I'm going to go babysit and then go home for the weekend. My dad works 4p.m. to 3a.m. and my Mom is going down to Florida to visit my Aunt Diane so It'll pretty much be me and the cats... oh and my books. This weekend, I'm going home so I can devote myself to studying for my finals ALL WEEKEND. Sounds exciting right!? Obviously, I'll take breaks so I can watch Love Actually.

By far, best Christmas movie ever! I watch it ALL the time in December and don't plan on stopping it anytime soon. If you haven't seen it... then DO IT!

Also, this weekend, I have to do some more Christmas shopping and be crafty. I would love to tell you ALL about it but the people on my Christmas list read this blog so you must wait until after Christmas to see all of my craftiness.

I don't know if I've told ya'll this yet, but I have finals starting next week. I only have 2 finals and their in Math and History. History is on Tuesday and Math is on Thursday. And then... Thursday afternoon... I'M DONE! Yep, DONE. With my first semester that is. I'll be packing up all of my things (even this crappy desktop computer. Next semester... I'll have a pretty new Mac. Yep, I'm gonna be a Mac.) and be heading home for an ENTIRE MONTH! I won't be going back to school until January 11th. So I'll be free from December 11th until January 11th. HOLLA!!!!

While on my wonderful and much needed break, I plan on relaxing, sleeping, hanging out with my best friends, eating actual food, sleeping in MY bed, and going to Florida. Yes, you read that right, the fam (including Andy) will be high tailing it down to Pensacola from December 23rd until December 30th. Right before the New Year, which I can already tell is gonna be a good time!

Well that's all I really have time for. I really must get back to studying, especially before the Victoria's Secret Fashion show comes on! :) I hope you guys have an amazing week and I will talk to you guys soon!

love love love,
Morgan

Oh and by the way, next week, look out for an update of likes and dislikes of dorm life. It's gonna be awesome. You don't want to miss it!

"there I just said it... I'm scared you'll forget about me..."

I lied.

Yep. You read that right. Remember how in the last post I said, "and then I'm going back home for the weekend."? Well, I didn't. I said that because, for the past two months I've been planning to surprise Jessie in Nashville, this weekend for the New Moon premier. I couldn't say it on here because she reads this blog.

So this weekend should never have ended. Let me just start out by saying, it was one of the most fun, relaxing, crazy weekends I've had with my beloved best friend in a long time.

I got into Nashville at around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday night. Jess had class until 7 so I went and met up with Ton (Jessie's stepmom) at her cousin, Tracy's house. I've hung out with Tracy quite a few times before and love her dearly. So at 7-ish, we got ready and Ton called Jess and told her to meet them for dinner. We got there about 15 minutes before Jess so we decided I should get in the trunk of Ton's SUV and get under a blanket and Ton then came and draped her jacket on top of me. When Jess finally showed up, Ton, Tra and her were walking into the restaurant and Ton asked Jess if she could go get her her jacket from the trunk. As soon as she turned around and started walking back to the car, Ton started video taping it. And OH MY WORD is it the funniest video I've ever seen. She's going to post it on YouTube or Facebook and as soon as she does, I'll post it here. Jessie's reaction is AMAZING.

As soon as she opened the door and grabbed the jacket I jumped out from under the blanket and yelled surprise. Jess then screamed (REALLY LOUD) and then sat on the ground because she was laughing so hard and I really scared her. I can't wait for you guys to see it!

After that, we went to dinner and then to Walgreen's to buy candy and then we went to the movie theater to see...

Yep. That's right. We were those girls that went to see New Moon at Midnight. We got in our seats at about 9:45 and then waited. We passed the time by talking, making fun of people, and meeting new people.

There's me, Ton, and Jess. We're acting like our friend Kaylyne is sitting in that seat. That's her on the phone. Miss you Kay baby!

We met this girl who had just moved up to Nashville, by herself and was seeing the movie by herself, so she sat with us. Little did we know, she is the daughter in law of the man that invented...

That's right. THE NOODLE! We freaked. How cool is that!? I mean we've ALL used one, at least once in our life. The man would probably need a noodle to go swimming in all the money he's made, inventing that.

Now, back to the movie. It was AMAZING! I absolutely LOVED IT! It was 1000x better than Twilight and I lovvveeedddd it. Everyone should go see it. I'm going to go see it again this weekend with my Momma. And then again next week. Go ahead and judge. I don't care. :)

Friday, I hung out with Jess and Ton and we went shopping. Can't beat shopping! It was soo much fun! Then we went back to Tra's house and went on an impromptu shopping trip to Kroger. We got Lunchables, cheese cubes, and cake. We're college students, we do what we want. :)

We admit, we didn't look that attractive going to Kroger. Jess was sporting Shut up and Kiss Me pajama shorts. Apparently people noticed these shorts, even the 40-year-old creeptastic man that works at Kroger with a nasty beard. How do I know that he noticed you ask? Well because as were walking out he looks at us and goes "Niceeee shorts..." then shines his creeptastic smile. We ran out of Kroger so fast. This is how Jess reacted to it...

Saturday, we went shopping again, and then went to GiGi's cupcakes. This place is famous for their cupcakes and I now know why.

They were delicious! So yummy! Look at alllll that frosting! After GiGi's, Jess and I went back to her dorm and we went and hung out with some of her friends and then went to a Belmont Basketball Game.

Belmont ended up winning and we had a blast. :) Afterwards, we went to McDonald's and got some food and Large Hi-C's. WE LOVE HI-C! Especially the kind at McDonald's. Then, we went to Blockbuster and rented Dirty Love and Euro Trip (again, don't judge!). Then went back to her dorm and laughed until we cried. Those movies are sooo funny.

Sunday, I drove back to Lexington. I then studied for a History test that I had today allll night. And by all night, I mean until 1:30 a.m. and then I woke up at 3:30 and studied until class at 9:30. I think all that studying paid off because I'm really confident that I did really well on it! Downside, I've been like a zombie alllll day. I'm so tired that I'm awake. It's now, 10:16. I've been up for 19 hours. Stupid school.

But a plus side from today, was getting to go to lunch with the wonderful Jen. We went to Chipotle, like we always do. Then we went over to McDonald's because she wanted to get a couple of drinks before she went back to work. We stood in line and Jen ordered two Cokes. The lady took her order and then looked at Jen, dead seriously and said, "For here or to go?". Jen's face was PRICELESS. She tried not to laugh and said to go and then turned around laughing and goes, "Is there a difference between here and to go, if its drinks?" Ugh no. We laughed about this for ever, until the lady with no eyebrows (apparently, she pencils them on), the ringlets in her hair, and the crazy long finger nails gave us the drinks. I'm still laughing about that. Good times Jen good times!

On a random note, while I stayed at Tracy's house... I met a boy. He was soooo cute and we cuddled all weekend.

Meet Angus. The CUTEST DOG EVER. I swear i was SOOOOO close to stealing him. He was a sweet heart and loved to snuggle. He has a scrunched up nose that stole my heart. Look at that face!!!! Precious little Angus. Guard your dog, Tra. One day, I will come steal him!

Now it is 10:30, and I still have to write a paper for my English Class. YAY! Well I must get going. Hope you guys had a great weekend.

love love love,

Morgan

Oh and side note, If you're wondering what my Blog titles are lately, they are songs that I'm either listening to while blogging and or obsessing over. This week is dedicated to John Mayer's "Edge of Desire". I cannot stop listening to this song. It's beautiful. We've all had a fear of losing people that mean a lot to us in life, and this song captures it. High five, John, high five.

caught in a bad romance.

Let me just say... I did not want this weekend to end. This weekend was so relaxing and much needed. I went home Thursday after class, on my way home I stopped at a little cafe called Double Decker to get their AMAZING hot chocolate. Then I went to my old stopping grounds, Braxton's Drycleaners. I DO NOT nor will I EVER miss that place. But I will miss the people. I went to see Judy, the 65 year old lady I used to work with. She is wonderful and is so funny. She curses, tells me hilarious stories, and makes fun of everyone. Pretty much me, but just a little older. After that, I went back home and hung out with my Momma and Kobe.

Thursday night, I went to bed at 1 a.m. I woke up Friday afternoon a 4 p.m. I'm awesome.

Friday night I hung out with my friend Kristin. Whenever I hang out with her at her house we ALWAYS end up playing...

ROCK BAND!!!!!!!

I play the drums and K plays the guitar. We rock out. A lot.

Then Saturday, my Mom made me wake up at 9:30 am and go stand in line to get the swine flu shot. This was just SOME of the line waiting for the shot.

There I am with my swine flu shot certificate. Be jealous!

We waited for 2 and a half hours. My mom and I made fun of people, talked, and read magazines. It was wonderful. Then I got a little surprise. The wonderful Belden family just so happened to be in line behind us. It was so great to see them and to catch up! I have missed that family a lot and can't wait to see them over Christmas Break. Shout out to the Belden's!

After waiting for 2 and a half hours, I finally got the shot! That's right folks! I officially cannot get swine flu! It was worth the wait. Even though I almost passed out after getting it (eat before you get a shot, kids!) but other than that it was good! I'm so glad that I don't have to worry about swine flu! I could lick a pig and I wouldn't get it!!!!!!!

When we got up to the line, my mom, the Margo, told a LITTLE white lie, so she could get the shot! My mom wanted to get the shot too because she really didn't want to get it either so we came up with a story, just in case anyone asked. And just in case you were wondering what story we went with... APPARENTLY, my sister had a baby in June, named Savannah, that my mom regularly takes care of. (Because people who take care of kids younger than 5 can get it, my mom said she did, even though I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have turned away anybody that day) Go Mom! If that's not the greatest story you've ever heard I don't know what is! Mom, you're my hero.

After getting the shot, my mom and I went to Cracker Barrel and got a little breakfast. Then, later that night, I got to go see Jacob, my friend that had gotten burned. I went over to his house and just hung out with him and his sisters. It was sooo much fun! HE LOOKS AMAZING!! I kid you not! Before, I told you how he looked so skinny and really couldn't walk around. Now, the boy is not only walking around like usual, but he didn't even have to go to rehab or physical therapy. And the kicker: he gets to go back to school in the spring. That's how awesome he has been doing!!!! He has gained some of his weight back, eating regular food, and being his old crazy self. His burns have been healing greatly and he is making an INSANE amount of progress. Thank God! God and his Angels have been keeping watch over him and I'm so thankful. That fire couldn't take Jake away. I'm pretty sure the best part of the night was when I gave him a get well card from my parents and my mom had included our little wallet size 8th grade dinner dance picture. He absolutely hates the picture and says he looks like a total goof, so he went nuts when he saw it. He laughed sooo hard. I'll have to see if I can scan it and put it up here because it is awesome and EVERYONE needs to see it!

Sunday, I hung out with my momma and watched the Saints go 9-0! We (hopefully) CANNOT be stopped. We gotta go undeafted!!

Now, I'm back at school and putting off doing homework! My week is crazy busy, this week. I'm doing homework and laundry tomorrow and maybe doing a little laundry. Tomorrow night, I'm going to go hang out with some girls. Wednesday, right after school, I'm going to babysit. I'm not sure what time I'll be getting back to my dorm after that. Thursday, I have class and then I'm going back home for the weekend.

Then I'll be back Sunday morning-ish because (oh joy!) I have to study for a test in History that I have on Monday. I'm not quite sure if it will actually happen because my professor pushes dates back a lot so I'm not really sure if thats going to happen. I have 2 out of 3 classes cancelled next wednesday and would just (REALLY!) like my stupid Political Science teacher to cancel class. If I have to stay here for that stupid class instead of going home early Tuesday morning, I'm going to hate him even more (and I'm not so sure if thats possible). Stupid teacher. Send good "cancel class" vibes, friends! Pleassseee!!!!

Well I must get going, but I will post soon! Love you all!

love love love,

Morgan

kings and queens

Hey everyone! I hope you guys like the new look of the blog. I have been wanting to change it for awhile and I absolutely love it! It definitely fits me more than the last layout. Well I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. Mine sure was!

Last Thursday, I skipped class and went home Wednesday night. I hadn't been feeling good at all so I decided to go home and rest a little bit before we drove to SC. We woke up and began our drive down to SC at about 10 and got there around 5. It was so great to see my sis and her beau. That night we hung out at her apartment and went to dinner. Then Saturday, they took us to downtown Greenville and showed us around. It was gorgeous. I loved Greenville! Here are some pictures from the weekend...

Me and Shannon!
Shandy.
Me, Andy and Shan.
Lovers. :)
Shakin' it!
Yep, they're dating.
I saw this in the park in Greenville and I HAD to take a picture of it. This is a nun, look in her hand. That's a frisbee. I saw a NUN playing FRISBEE! Tell me that thats not one of the greatest things you've EVER seen!
While in SC, we got to meet Andy's Mom and stepdad. They are so wonderful and we had a blast with them.

I'm still not feeling good, but I am feeling better. It's not swine flu, don't worry. Just a cold that I can't seem to beat because I never get any sleep. Story of a college students life.

Monday I drove back down to school (skipped my first class), went to class and then to babysitting. When I came back to my dorm, I checked my mail and had SOOO much waiting for me. Our mail system hasn't been working very well lately and it finally is running smoothly now. I had 3 magazines (my parents are WONDERFUL and surprised me with a subscription to US Weekly, I'm addicted, what can I say!?) and 3 letters, waiting for me. I was like a kid on Christmas! I just couldn't wait to read them all! I can't wait to write them all back! Monday night, my friend Patrick came over to my dorm (I convinced him to skip his 7 o clock class to come hang out with me, I know, I'm a bad influence) and we hookahed in the court yard because it was a perfect night. We hookahed for about an hour and a half, then came back to my dorm for a little bit. At 9, I had to go to a floor meeting for my dorm, which was pointless and then I came back to my dorm and downloaded some new music and did homework.

I'm super SUPER excited for these next few weeks coming up. Not only do I have fun plans but there are AMAZING movies coming out soon. These are just two of the many that I can't wait to see.

The Blind Side, has truly captured my heart. I balled my eyes out when I saw this trailer. I'm pretty sure you might too. I showed it to my Mom and she cried as well. This movie just looks amazing and I cannot wait to see it. I hope you guys watch and go see it as well. The truly amazing thing about this movie is that it's based off a true story. There actually was a compassionate family out there that saw this boy and changed his life forever. Here's the trailer...

If that didn't bring a tear to your eye then I don't know what does. I already have plans to see it twice. That's how excited I am to see it. I hope you enjoyed that trailer and definitely check both those movies out :)

While in SC, my Mom, Shannon and I went to Target. Let's just say WE LOVE TARGET. While in Target, Shan and I found these little grow em' yourself plants for a dollar each. We bought one flower one and a christmas tree one. We both bought them and are going to grow them together even though were miles away.

Here we are with 2/4 of our little plants. :)

Also while in SC, in downtown Greenville, the sister and I had a little photo-shoot. And from that photo-shoot came one of my favorite pictures OF ALL TIME...

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE this picture! We laid the camera down on the ground and took a picture hovering over it, beautiful clear sky behind us. I love this picture and the girl in it!

Also, today, November 10th, is a special day...

It's Shannon's 24th Birthday!
Happy Birthday Shan!
I love you with allllllll of my heart!

love love love,

Morgan

"are you makin' eyes at me!?!"

Hey there family and friends! I hope you guys had a great weekend! Mine was just fantastic! Thursday, after class, I went back home to NKY for my parents anniversary. That night we went to Newport on the Levee and ate at Dewey's Pizza. While we were eating my parents surprised me and told me that we had tickets to go see Shadowbox. Shadowbox is a sketch comedy/rock and roll club at Newport. We had so much fun and laughed so hard. My dad had told them that it was their 27th anniversary and during the opening monologue, the guy pulled out a piece of paper and said, "Congratulations to Margo and David. It's their 27th anniversary today.... That's a long fu**ing time!!!!" To which my dad replied, "NO SHIT!" Good job Dad!

Friday, my Dad went to Cleveland, so my mom and I had a girls day. We watched 4 movies, hung out and relaxed. It was one of the greatest days I've had in a while. I love my momma :)

And let me just say... oh how i just loovvveee halloween. I hope you guys had as much fun as i did on Halloween. Saturday afternoon I drove up to Dayton to celebrate Halloween with my best friends. We had soooo much fun. We hung out, walked around, freezed our butts off, and had a blasty blast. Here are a few pictures...

This is my favorite picture of the night. UD has these random midget doors so I told Ross to go pose with them... and this is what he does. A. he's super excited to be a midget B. look at his hands! Do midgets usually have their hands that way? C. This picture is just wonderful and it makes me wish my friend Ross was indeed a nugget.

I had so much fun hanging out with my friends. Even though we did freeze our butts off, it was totally worth it. We walked around to different parties and there were so many crafty costumes! The best one I saw of the night: Gumby. That show was soooo awesome and I miss it. Gumby was and still is the man!

I got about 5 hours of sleep that night and had to take a nap when I got back home on Sunday. Then I only got 5 hours of sleep last night because I was doing homework (that I come to find out isn't even due until Wednesday... story of my life!). So you can pretty much guess that I'm like a zombie and dead tired today. I'm coming right back to my dorm tomorrow after class, and going to bed. I can't quite tell if this is pure sleepiness or if it has to do with the fact that I'm coming down with something. Being sick sucks!

This week is going to fly by, I can already tell. Tomorrow, I'm going to class then coming back and napping and doing homework all night. Then Wednesday, I've got class, then babysitting and then at 8, I'm going to hang out with some friends at the library. After that, I'm going back to NKY and skipping class on Thursday. First, I want to be home because I feel like crap. Second, I still have work to do on my sisters birthday present (Shan's birthday is November 10th! Yay sister!) and Third, I just want my own bed haha.

Friday morning, my parents and I are driving to South Carolina to visit Shannon and to celebrate her birthday with her. I can't wait to see her! I've missed her a lot!

Well I really must get going, the Saints game is on and I want to watch but I will try to give you guys a blog post before this weekend but if I don't get around to it, have a good week/weekend and I'll talk to you guys soon!

love love love,

Morgan
