carry out...

THANK YOU GOD! I am ALMOST done with my first semester of college and my God do I need a break! My brain literally HURTS! If I try to put anymore information in there... it could be deadly. So thankfully, I have my Math final tomorrow and as soon as it's over, I'm coming back to my dorm and packing up my things and heading home for an ENTIRE MONTH! That sounds sooooo good. I can't tell you how excited I am. It's going to be an awesome month full of family, FLORIDA, my cat, friends, parties, new years craziness, Christmas, Grandparents, SLEEP and FUN! I'm so excited. I can't wait to actually eat food. Don't get me wrong, I like the food here and especially the fact that we are a Coca Cola campus, but I swear if I eat pizza or mashed potatoes or anything else I usually eat here I will punch someone.

But before I get going on my month of much needed break, we have some things to discuss. This past weekend for instance, was... interesting to say the least. I went home because I needed to study for finals, I was starting to get sick from lack of sleep and I needed a break. But something happened on Saturday night that scared me to death...

I was sitting downstairs (home alone), being crafty for Christmas presents and watching one of my all time favorite movies, The Holiday. All is fine and dandy, until at about 11 or so I hear something outside. Mind you this couch is right next to a sliding glass door that leads onto a back patio (on the ground floor). I silence the TV because I got a little nervous. Good thing I did. I then proceeded to hear SOMEONE try and silently OPEN the sliding screen door. But we have that locked, and obviously they got that so they proceeded to jerk harder 2 or 3 times. I FREAKED OUT. Silently. I quietly got up from my couch and walked over to the window and turned on the light on the porch. I then heard them leave. I panicked and called my Mom (who was in Florida, at the time) and made her stay on the phone with me while I went and looked out of my sisters window to see if they were still there. They weren't and my Mom told me to hang up and call the cops. As I called the cops I heard him come back and pull on the door silently a few more times before he bolted. The cops were there in about 5 minutes. They came in and I explained the story and they searched around the house and the woods and told me that they were going to hang around the neighborhood for a while.

I then went to the garage, picked up my old baseball batt and sat downstairs and silently freaked out until my Dad got home. My sweet sister, stayed up with me via text and phone calls to make sure I was safe. I love you sister!

Sunday night, my Dad had to work again, so as soon as he left, I went and turned on every light possible and made sure every door and window was locked and closed every blind. I was downstairs, still being crafty, at about 6:25 (since its winter, you now its dark by this time) and I have the TV (watching the Holiday again. Thanks for showing my favorite movie 3 times in the same weekend TBS!) volume on low and all of the sudden I hear something outside. I turn the volume down even lower and listen. I hear foot steps, something moving against the wall and then SOMEONE pressing on my sisters bedroom window's screen or window frame. I couldn't really understand what he was doing. I thought I was maybe hearing things, but then I heard him DROP HIS KEYS. I FLIPPED. I heard him run off but I still grabbed my phone, ran into my room and locked the door and called the police. Two cop cars showed up with 3 or 4 cops within 2 minutes. They were here so fast. They said they were going to search the woods and check the neighborhood and fingerprint the window. They didn't come up with any fingerprints but they said they would stay around the neighborhood that night, just in case.

UNBELIEVABLE RIGHT?!?! I can't believe that happened! It always happens to me too. It happened to me once in our old house, but I saw that guy. Creeptastic men, LEAVE ME ALONE! We don't have to worry about them anymore, we now have an alarm system and put boards in the sliding door frame (so that it won't slide even if you unlock the door) and all the windows on ground level. THANK GOD! I will feel much safer at home now!

Well that was my creeptastic weekend. Other than that happening to me, it was nice, relaxing, and great to recharge my batteries.

And you know how I was going to take pictures of our pretty decorated house at night? Yeahhh, I thought about doing that, but then I was creeped on and the idea of going outside by myself, at night... not appealing and NO THANK YOU! Thats like having a buffet for the hungry, they'll attack it. So just take my word for it, it's pretty and I'll take picture sometime over break.

Just because I'm going on break, doesn't mean I'm taking a break from blogging. I will keep blogging, and filling you in on adventures. I hope you guys have a great weekend!

love love love,
Morgan

Oh and ummm Saints are 12-0 and the Wildcats are 9-0. Just sayin'. :))))))

Oh and by the way, the title of this post is from "Carry Out" by Timbaland and Justin Timberlake. It's such a good song and I plan on walking to my final tomorrow, rocking out to it. Check it out! :)

Oh and one more thing, this whole cold and wind thing needs to quit NOW. The wind was ridiculous today (25mph+). Thats insane! I almost got blown over today, multiple times. And today, when I was hanging out with Patrick, he told me that when he was walking over to my dorm, he actually saw some girl get literally knocked over by the wind. I would have loved to have seen that! Also, today, while at lunch, Patrick and I were talking about Florida football and I made a comment about how I loved Tim Tebow because he loves the Lord and he's someone boys in college should look up to. Patrick then told me that he hates Tebow because and I quote, "He's too good, like a goody-goody, he doesn't drink or party, he has a bangin' girlfriend, says god bless you after every interview, and hes just... TOO GOOD!" I then asked, "Well would you like him more if he slept with every girl, partied hard, and was a typical college boy." His answer: "HELL YES! I'd love him!!!!" haha oh how I love our conversations, Pat!

Oh and Tim, you're adorable.

We should date. ;)
