"there I just said it... I'm scared you'll forget about me..."

I lied.

Yep. You read that right. Remember how in the last post I said, "and then I'm going back home for the weekend."? Well, I didn't. I said that because, for the past two months I've been planning to surprise Jessie in Nashville, this weekend for the New Moon premier. I couldn't say it on here because she reads this blog.

So this weekend should never have ended. Let me just start out by saying, it was one of the most fun, relaxing, crazy weekends I've had with my beloved best friend in a long time.

I got into Nashville at around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday night. Jess had class until 7 so I went and met up with Ton (Jessie's stepmom) at her cousin, Tracy's house. I've hung out with Tracy quite a few times before and love her dearly. So at 7-ish, we got ready and Ton called Jess and told her to meet them for dinner. We got there about 15 minutes before Jess so we decided I should get in the trunk of Ton's SUV and get under a blanket and Ton then came and draped her jacket on top of me. When Jess finally showed up, Ton, Tra and her were walking into the restaurant and Ton asked Jess if she could go get her her jacket from the trunk. As soon as she turned around and started walking back to the car, Ton started video taping it. And OH MY WORD is it the funniest video I've ever seen. She's going to post it on YouTube or Facebook and as soon as she does, I'll post it here. Jessie's reaction is AMAZING.

As soon as she opened the door and grabbed the jacket I jumped out from under the blanket and yelled surprise. Jess then screamed (REALLY LOUD) and then sat on the ground because she was laughing so hard and I really scared her. I can't wait for you guys to see it!

After that, we went to dinner and then to Walgreen's to buy candy and then we went to the movie theater to see...

Yep. That's right. We were those girls that went to see New Moon at Midnight. We got in our seats at about 9:45 and then waited. We passed the time by talking, making fun of people, and meeting new people.

There's me, Ton, and Jess. We're acting like our friend Kaylyne is sitting in that seat. That's her on the phone. Miss you Kay baby!

We met this girl who had just moved up to Nashville, by herself and was seeing the movie by herself, so she sat with us. Little did we know, she is the daughter in law of the man that invented...

That's right. THE NOODLE! We freaked. How cool is that!? I mean we've ALL used one, at least once in our life. The man would probably need a noodle to go swimming in all the money he's made, inventing that.

Now, back to the movie. It was AMAZING! I absolutely LOVED IT! It was 1000x better than Twilight and I lovvveeedddd it. Everyone should go see it. I'm going to go see it again this weekend with my Momma. And then again next week. Go ahead and judge. I don't care. :)

Friday, I hung out with Jess and Ton and we went shopping. Can't beat shopping! It was soo much fun! Then we went back to Tra's house and went on an impromptu shopping trip to Kroger. We got Lunchables, cheese cubes, and cake. We're college students, we do what we want. :)

We admit, we didn't look that attractive going to Kroger. Jess was sporting Shut up and Kiss Me pajama shorts. Apparently people noticed these shorts, even the 40-year-old creeptastic man that works at Kroger with a nasty beard. How do I know that he noticed you ask? Well because as were walking out he looks at us and goes "Niceeee shorts..." then shines his creeptastic smile. We ran out of Kroger so fast. This is how Jess reacted to it...

Saturday, we went shopping again, and then went to GiGi's cupcakes. This place is famous for their cupcakes and I now know why.

They were delicious! So yummy! Look at alllll that frosting! After GiGi's, Jess and I went back to her dorm and we went and hung out with some of her friends and then went to a Belmont Basketball Game.

Belmont ended up winning and we had a blast. :) Afterwards, we went to McDonald's and got some food and Large Hi-C's. WE LOVE HI-C! Especially the kind at McDonald's. Then, we went to Blockbuster and rented Dirty Love and Euro Trip (again, don't judge!). Then went back to her dorm and laughed until we cried. Those movies are sooo funny.

Sunday, I drove back to Lexington. I then studied for a History test that I had today allll night. And by all night, I mean until 1:30 a.m. and then I woke up at 3:30 and studied until class at 9:30. I think all that studying paid off because I'm really confident that I did really well on it! Downside, I've been like a zombie alllll day. I'm so tired that I'm awake. It's now, 10:16. I've been up for 19 hours. Stupid school.

But a plus side from today, was getting to go to lunch with the wonderful Jen. We went to Chipotle, like we always do. Then we went over to McDonald's because she wanted to get a couple of drinks before she went back to work. We stood in line and Jen ordered two Cokes. The lady took her order and then looked at Jen, dead seriously and said, "For here or to go?". Jen's face was PRICELESS. She tried not to laugh and said to go and then turned around laughing and goes, "Is there a difference between here and to go, if its drinks?" Ugh no. We laughed about this for ever, until the lady with no eyebrows (apparently, she pencils them on), the ringlets in her hair, and the crazy long finger nails gave us the drinks. I'm still laughing about that. Good times Jen good times!

On a random note, while I stayed at Tracy's house... I met a boy. He was soooo cute and we cuddled all weekend.

Meet Angus. The CUTEST DOG EVER. I swear i was SOOOOO close to stealing him. He was a sweet heart and loved to snuggle. He has a scrunched up nose that stole my heart. Look at that face!!!! Precious little Angus. Guard your dog, Tra. One day, I will come steal him!

Now it is 10:30, and I still have to write a paper for my English Class. YAY! Well I must get going. Hope you guys had a great weekend.

love love love,

Morgan

Oh and side note, If you're wondering what my Blog titles are lately, they are songs that I'm either listening to while blogging and or obsessing over. This week is dedicated to John Mayer's "Edge of Desire". I cannot stop listening to this song. It's beautiful. We've all had a fear of losing people that mean a lot to us in life, and this song captures it. High five, John, high five.
